When it comes to work, there is no way around it. We have to work whether it will be ourselves or some one. There are differences and similarities to both whether working for yourself or someone else. But the differences of self business have greater importance than the work of employer. First Difference between self employment and employment is freedom. When we choose to work, a lot of thoughts come to mind such as “Will I wake up so early tomorrow morning?” or “Will the bus arrives on time” and so on. After that we defiantly think about working for ourselves. When we are self employed, we set up our own schedules, meetings and work hours. We wake up when it is convenient, take lunches and breaks when ever feel hungry or simply go home when not feeling alright. Working on our own fulfils one of the needs from hierarchy of needs, which is belonging/communication. People meet people when do businesses abroad, around the world. We love communication, all day long talk, and make businesses with people. When choosing to be self employed more responsibilities fall on our shoulders. A lot of people like responsibilities. We create our own tasks and complete them without other people interfering. In comparison to being self employed is being employed by someone. When we are employed we don’t get that enjoyable long sleep because of time frame , that tells us when to arrive to work, when to go to lunch and when to go home. Also being self employed means not having opportunity to meet people from different countries and places. Every day we sit at our work desk for 8 or 9 hours with no opportunity to leave it behind. In addition to that we can’t do what we want because there is someone who bosses us around. All day long we complete same work that needs to be done by the due date which was set by supervisor.
