Re: Implementing Corporate Structure within Workshop Tools
Please review my attached report regarding the implantation of corporate structure within all Workshop Tools stores. While Workshop Tools has been in business for over nineteen years, it is time for the executives to coordinate and monitor a new set of standards for compliance in all locations. The organization already has a solid foundation of exceptional employees and repeat customers constructed where most companies are suffering from being start-up companies having to search for the customer base and find its’ place within the industry.
As the company continues to grow and the goals continue
to change we must hold employees and management responsible for achieving these goals. With the joint effort put forth by all executive managers and consistency shown companywide with the processes, the new standards will only be beneficial for Workshop Tools and provide the organization needed to capitalize on the business’s potential. Most of the employees hired are either newly hired within the last two years or have worked for the company many years. The employees hired many years ago were trained on the older software and taught older processes some of which are no longer utilized by the company.
The goal of this research project is not only to shine light a few areas within the organization to encourage the business to become a better small business but to also adopt new ideas while making our statement within the tool retail business. Workshop Tools can offer customers a pleasant experience and maintain the family atmosphere with adjusted procedures to help employees. Once these new procedures are put in place I would like to put these procedures in the Workshop Tools Handbook and ensure all employees read and acknowledge the adopted processes.
