World Religion
Religion is an important part of our society. People seek religion to find answers to there questions. Some include how was the universe created? Do we and the universe have a purpose? Will it end? How should we make use of it? What should be our relationship to the world of nature? How do we reach salvation or enlightenment? Is there a moral code? Is their a specific way to live are lives? And the most common what happens when we die? Two religions that help the public find these answers are Christianity and Islam.
Christianity is a monotheistic, Abrahamic religion which started from Judaism. It has a major influence on the world today with a following of 2.2 billion people. Christianity is based of the teachings and life of Jesus Christ, and also the teaching of the Bible. The majority of Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God others believe Jesus Christ and God are one and the same. Jesus Christ in Christianity is consider to be the Messiah.
