Adolf Hitler rose to power as the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party, or the Nazi Party. Hitler was the chancellor and dictator of Germany. Leading up to start of the war in 1939, Hitler breached of the treaty of versailles three times. First time he breached the treaty was when he ordered troops into Rhineland, which had been put under French protection by the Treaty of Versailles. Adolf Hitler coming into power was a big reason why WWII had started because of his desicion to breach the treay of Versailles. The Great Depression also started the war because many partsof the world were in ruins, and sadly they believed war would solve their economical problems.
