Statement of purpose or intent
This paper is about the first World War or as other names for it the Great War. My research paper will answer the following question “What new inventions did the war encourage?” it is important for the people to know the major events in history that changed and influenced the world as we know it today. For my question I will be talking about some of the major inventions such as the trenches, poison gas and flamethrowers. These inventions changed the people and their behaviors in to becoming more barbarian than the world ever saw before.
When people are living in a peaceful area and the political system crumbles in one night the greatest war people ever saw started. This is what happened in 1914 the war just started and it was the first time in mankind’s history to see a war between all these countries at once. The war started on the twenty eight of July 1914 and it ended on the eleventh of November 1918. There two main power in the war; the Allies and the triple Alliance then changed the name to Central powers. The Allies were based on the Triple Entente of the United Kingdom, France and Russia as for the Central powers they were Germany, Austria-Hungry and Italy. Then after that a few new countries joined the war such as the United states and Japan joined the Allies and the Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria Joined the Central powers.
