World Water Pollution Water pollution is one of the worst environmental impacts that our planet continues to suffers today. Every day people throw garbage into rivers, oceans, and lakes. Also, tons of human waste is dumped at the rivers and the sea from many waste factories, therefore, causing death of many animals in the environment. Polluted water can also cause outbreaks of hepatitis, cholera and dysentery in humans. Water pollution and pollution in general is an issue that unfortunately people don't like to deal with. The pollutions is so hard to clean up that its still hard to go back the way these rivers, lakes or places go back the way it was before. According to the Greenpeace movement researchers says, “the clothes you're wearing surely contains toxic substances, in our blood there are 300 chemicals, and the air pollution causes 20,000 premature deaths in Spain each year,” thousands of toxic substances are thrown into the water each day without proper control. Humans have polluted the land, sea and air, affecting our won health tremendously. Asia is one of the top continents facing water crisis. The demand for water is extremely huge, both industry and agriculture using massive amounts of water – creating massive water pollution. The fashion industry is one of the key components to the disaster pollution that occurs nowadays. The chemicals from the clothing making, cleaning, and more are substances that are dangerous to people, wildlife and the environment at any stage of their lifecycle, from production to use to disposal. Many of these chemicals are used in factories during the production process, after which they are dumped into rivers and lakes. They can also be as part of the final product process, such as plasticizers in plastics or heavy metals in electronics.
