In module 7 you will write your Worldview Essay that displays your worldview. The seven sections (questions) below will serve as the paragraphs in your final essay. You will get started on your essay by answering the questions below with your thoughts. Now imagine that unlike earth you have no real understanding of its topography, your current position or even your ultimate destination. This world I have described is an example of our journey through life. This will be an arduous journey in that you will experience many times of sadness, times when you will feel anger but mostly filled with times of laughter and fulfillment. In order to embark on this journey you must develop a plan of action or a clearer view of this world. With a defined worldview we can establish our present position and conquer its topography to reach our ultimate destination. A worldview can be best described by the selection of the tools that you will use to help tackle the challenges of this great journey. Science provides many answers to the universe but its limits remain endless.
4. How do you know what you know? How do you know what is true? (What are sources of truth [ex. senses, science, Bible, prayer, meditation, etc.]? Is there such a thing as absolute truth, or is truth always relative to the circumstances?)
1. Most of what I believe to be true was considered relative truth until I had completely converted to the lord and has plan for me and my family. After what I refer to as complete conversion I now interpret things absolute truth.
2. One of the many blessings of the priesthood is the guidance of the Holy Spirit to testify of those things that I believe to be true.
5. What is right and wrong or how can we know there is a right and wrong? (Does each individual determine what is right and wrong, or are ethics determined by an outside authority such as God?)
1. Right and wrong can be determined by social boundaries, general morality, the word of god and a testimony of the Holy Spirit.
2. Man ultimately makes the decision between right and wrong but the boundaries have been originally determined by the Godhead. Man can counsel his father through prayer at any
