This subject focuses on self-awareness, group work, team building, interpersonal communication, presentation skills, conflict, and time management with applications to the computer industry.
In this subject, you will develop the necessary skills that will not only make you a greater asset to an employer but a more confident and accomplished individual. APC100 will provide you with a thorough grounding in employability skills listed as essential by the Conference Board of Canada in our global, knowledge-based society of the 21st century. You will be introduced to communication theories and concepts, as well as given ample opportunity to apply your learning in the classroom. You will utilize and further develop these skills in all the subjects of your program.

Note: You must have completed or are currently enrolled in EAC149 (equivalent to EAP500) or EAC150 in order to take this course. You will not be allowed to take APC100 if you are currently enrolled in EAP300 or EAP330.
