In the play Hamlet written by William Shakespeare, the character Hamlet is having a rough time coping with the fact that his uncle, Claudius, killed his father and is now married to his mother, Gertrude, as the new king. This situation reveals to the audience what ultimately brings hamlet to his demise and also the flaw he has as a person, which is the love he has towards his deceased father.
