It is pretty good with keeping those out. There was one patient on the show who was racist against Jews and African Americans and it caused a big deal and showed us not to accept racism. I think a lot of people could be offended by that scene. I think the show did a great job with diversity. There were many doctors of different races and they were all treated well and equally by each other.
There are commercials and previews of the show on the TV. The show is on ABC family and that channel is meant for kids to watch so it may not be very appropriate for that channel. They should be aware that kids watch that channel and some kids should not be seeing that show.
The age range is TV-14 but I think it should be raised a little higher. I think it should air later at night and during school hours so kids aren’t tempted to watch it as much. It should not air in the afternoon. Some ethical concerns such as gays or sex before marriage could be a concern because that is shown in the show.
