The reason for the window is to provide a view to look at when feeling stuck. The view could be anything from overlooking the water to just watching the cars pass by. It does not matter, as long as it is something that allows the author to focus on something else for a minute. This way, one does not have to stare at the blinking insertion point until an idea magically pops up. The recliner is so soft and conforming to the body. Sitting in one feels like laying on the sand. Reclining is so much more comfortable and relaxing than sitting upright in a wooden chair. Trying to write in the most unconventional position induces stress on the body, which in turn, produces sub-par results. In order to avoid this, a La-Z-Boy recliner by a window is a must.
