The two main rivers are the Sandy River and the North Platte River.

The indians caught many buffalo and cattle. They ate the meat and used the skin for clothes and for writing stories. They were all hunters or farmers if they were men. If they were women they would stay home take care of the kids or get materials for beds or teepees. The name Wyoming comes from the the Dakota word known as “large plains.” They sometimes used huts or dens as homes. The teepees were made for the hunter’s family.
UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES, AND SPORTS
Wyoming only has one university in the whole state and it is Wyoming University. They have many colleges and a few of them are Casper College, Central Wyoming College, Wyoming Catholic College, and Sheridan College. There are very few non white people in Wyoming, over nine tenths people are white. There are very many farmers in Wyoming, even many soldiers in the air force. The biggest sport in Wyoming is probably the Rodeo, but University of Wyoming football is as well very popular.
