XBOX 360 Kinect VS PlayStation 3 Move
The ultimate showdown in video games today is becoming a great deal. The Wii was the first to start the gaming systems without having to use a joystick. Today the XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3 have made a huge come back, by introducing the Kinect and Move. Though gaming systems may encourage the player to move, each device has it is on way of getting this to work. I will compare the setup, prices, software, design, and interface and control. The plan is to find out which system will come out on top. Kinect is a gaming system that uses a camera and built-in microphone to map players in 3D.The most a gamer have to do is walk, wave, and talk with no controllers. There is one part of this set up and they are done. The gamer does not need to buy any extra equipment to buy or keep charged. They now even have a mount for the TVs that can be mounted on the wall that you could sit the Kinect on. The PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye Camera to track the wand’s position, and initial sensors in the wand to detect its motion. There are many parts to this system that can use up to three pieces. The PS3 also has a built in Blu-ray player within the console. On a scale of 1 to 10 The Kinect a score of 10 and the Move a score of 7. On a scale from 1 to10 for the setup of the Kinect, scored a 5.The reason being the first initial calibration is too long, but when he or she get it completed you should not have to do it over. With the Kinect there will be need for at least 6 feet to play. There is a need for a lot of space to play the games. This is where it loses points. One other thing that makes the setup so long is that they have to set up an account on Xbox Live for first-time users. The interface and controls for the Xbox is the winner. I gave the Kinect a 4.
