Everything in the world today is connected to each other. Detrimental impacts to one part of the world affect other areas of the world in a similar fashion. This idea can be drawn from the reading by Rockstorm & Klum.
From the reading Welcome to the Anthropocene one can infer that humans view the world through an anthropocentric eye. It is this view that most humans share about the world that has been the cause of most of the world’s environmental issues that we face today.
The art of wandering does not require a science degree or the skills of a writer, wandering simple requires an individual to make time for careful observation and a state of mind in which an individual is active and involved in the outside world, as stated by Zwinger in The Art of Wandering.
Strength can be gathered through nature and the art of wandering, as expressed by Rachel Carson. One who pays close attention to the awe inspiring beauty of nature can draw strength and healing from nature.

The article expressed the idea that if more people found a love for nature, a wonder or an awe regarding nature, we may develop a new sense of appreciation for the natural world around us. With this newfound appreciation for nature it may push more people to want to preserve the natural beauty all around us, which would aid in fixing many of the environmental issues we are faced with today due to our anthropocentric view in which we have about the Earth.
