Life gives a person too much to remember. But each one of us has a memory that stays firmly in our heart. Now, I want to tell about a moment that I always remember until today.
I can still remember the day it like it was yesterday. The morning sun shone brightly on my eyelids. I rolled on to the right side of my bed. Wondering about the time, I stretched my arm to grasp a round alarm clock that used to woke me up every morning. I forced my eyes to wide open, focused them on the ugly round clock’s numbers and I knew I was late to go to school.
Leaping out of my bed, I dashed to the bathroom. After finished taking a quick bath, I quickly wore my school shirt and grabbed my school bag. Soon, I put my feet into my shoes and ready to cycling to school.
As my bicycle raced on, I noticed a group of girls looking at me with a great interests. Obviously, I still attractive even with uncombed hair. My heart pumping furiously as I cycling my bike way to fast on my way to school. In no time, I reached the school gate, which was about to be closed.
Without bothering to explain myself to prefect why I being late, I hopped off my bike and dashed off. After successfully escaped from the prefect, I drank a little water from a water cooler to cool me down. As I burst into my school’s hall, I stopped to change direction and made my way to my classroom.
After I entered the classroom, I seemed to be the centre of attraction. It did not matter much to me at the moment for I was used to being looked at. However, I felt something is wrong when almost every students in my class giggle when they looked at me. Suddenly, the whole hall was filled laughter. Without hesitate, I joined them laughing to increase the loudness of the classroom.
Suddenly, my friend shouted at me, “Anderson! Why on earth you are wearing short without school pants in school? “
My face suddenly turned red as soon I noticed that I wore the wrong pants to school. My mind was filled only with feeling of

I left for school, jogging to school is my favourite part of the day. There’s just something about jogging in the morning, I can taste the crisp air as I breathe in and the feeling of it whipping my face and legs wakes me up. I sat outside of the locker bay, I can’t stand going in there during ‘peak hour’, the stench, a combination of sweat, deodorant, and old food, makes me want to puke. There’s always that crowd of older girls staring at me with that look of disgust as I walk through the corridor with my shiny black hair held up in a bun with some chopsticks…

The morning my alarm went off for my EDHE class my mind instantly went to skipping. Even though my dorm is not even a minute away from the Kinard building, where class was being held this particular morning, the monstrous hill that I had to climb to get there made it a breathtaking five minute walk. I finally found the courage to roll out of bed and began my journey to class to hear about that day's lesson, which is a lesson that will stick with me for the rest of my life.…

My anxiety flutted around in my chest and gripped each breath like a vice. The daunting and steep steps danced in my mind making the simple task of walking up stairs more difficult than the impossible task to run a mile in a minute. Next, a boy pushed the door open behind him almost as an afterthought, but in my chaotic mind it was the best thing all morning to happen. On the dreadful first day of school, chivalry was not dead, or at least that’s how I was able to comprehend his actions. I glanced around unsurely before starting to slowly walk towards the freshman commons; each eye that meets mine screamed enthusiasm.…

Today was the day. Packed to the point of bursting open with new notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, and textbooks, he readied me for school. Instead of bouncing around as rambunctious young boys do, he trudged slowly in a peculiar meter of half-steps toward the doorway. I remember the first time I stayed awake throughout the night till a beaming light peaked through the window and hit my face like the touch of a baby's hand. Although the morning had risen, the moon had just come up. In the intensity of rushing to school, the need for pleasing others with looks has gone past me. The knots and tangles I feel in my stomach have also reached my hair as I pull parts of my day out of the strands.…

I hated to leave them there but I can’t be late for class. I kept running and my eyes were focused behind me to make sure none of the cheerleaders were following me, luckily they weren’t but I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going. The second I looked in front of me, I ran into a girl carrying a ton of books. I ended up tackling her and everything she was carrying fell to the ground. I jumped to my feet and helped the girl stand, “Oh my god, I’m so sorry. Are you ok?” I asked while picking up her books. The girl nodded and grabbed her folders and notebooks that fell out of her backpack. I looked at the girl, she had long brown hair that was up in a ponytail, there were purple glasses resting on her face. She wore a grey jacket, black…
