Unleavened breads have been around since ancient times, they started out of Egypt. When the Jewish slaves left Egypt, it is said that they ate unleavened bread by how they did not have time to let the bread rise before baking. To make Jewish style unleavened bread, you need a few ingredients. These ingredients are bread flour, water, sunflower oil, cilantro, and salt. There are no leveling agents; this is so the bread won’t rise. When kneading the dough, do so lightly then bake it off. The history of Chinese food started in the 1800s, when the Chinese came over to the United States during the Gold Rush. But the Chinese didn’t really eat what was considered “normal” food. They ate cats, rats, and sometimes dogs for meals. The Americans considered the Chinese as “aliens” because of their difference in culture. 34 years later, the Chinese were banned from coming overseas to Měiguó --- the “beautiful land” we call America--- with the Chinese Exclusion Acts.…

Today's society has become all about convience and how to get everything done cheaper and faster. However, my belief is that you should only take convience so far. Convience shouldn't be brought anywhere near the kitchen. My favorite baked item is that of old-fashioned bread. I don't mean that pre-packaged bread that you pick up from your local grocery store. I'm talking about the kind of sweet smelling bread your grandma used to make on Sunday mornings before church. Included in this article are the ingredients and steps necessary to obtaining that delicious, sweet smelling homemade bread.…

Modern-day Native American cuisine is varied. The use of indigenous domesticated and wild food ingredients can represent Native American food and cuisine. North American native cuisine can differ somewhat from Southwestern and Mexican cuisine in its simplicity and directness of flavor. The use of ramps, wild ginger, miners' lettuce, and juniper berry can impart subtle flavor’s to various dishes. Different ingredients can change the whole meaning of Native American cuisine.
