About the project This project is boon for the deaf and hearing impaired people who use Indian Sign Language for communication. This project translates spoken English into animated graphical representation. This software displays Indian Sign Language (ISL) signs on a computer screen, is most effective which sort questions and brief instructions. This software is also useful for blind people by providing correct pronunciations of data. The goal of the software is to translate English in to short, predictable communication between English speaker and listener. This application enables the user to search for a phrase and display the animated, graphical image of related phrase. At the same time it will also display the textual form on the screen. The user testing shows that the software, which uses a human looking model, is a workable solution for ISL speaker. This application work best if the user is working in a restricted domain. There are mainly two modules in this project

The designing module includes the frame design, data and information collection for the entire system. It also includes the application design where the input will be given by the user.
Learning the Sign Language
The learning module includes the training phase for deaf mutes as well as the persons involved with the real life activities. By showing the images and movies related to the phrase, the person with hearing defect will be able to understand the signs. Also the signs shown by the person will be matched with the inputted image.
Dictionary Formation The dictionary formation is designing of the specific set of words for which the training and language generation is made. It contains the phrases and keywords to communicate with the project.
