"Did you see the ending of that Duke game!" The president, Bill Clinton, was astonished by the miraculous ending of the Kentucky vs. Duke game. Just about anybody you could talk to would know about the game and also be astonished by it. This can show the effect a game can produce on a person and a school. During college sports games, a school and fans can be affected in a jubilant or a depressing way. For example, a school could begin to build a program with many wins to come, or they could go straight down. Also, a fan could be feeling so happy as if he is "on cloud nine," or he could feel like he has been killed as he takes pride in his team. Although this impact can be a bad circumstance, several delightful impacts can turn into traits. Three of these traits are persistence, self-esteem, and leadership. All three of these traits take place in each of three games that are arguably the greatest college sports games of all time. College sports games clearly can affect a human being and change his feeling whether it is bad or good.…

There are many other differences between these sports. For example, in football, the game is a series of plays of short bursts of action; after each play both teams then regroup to prepare for the next play. Lastly, Rugby is a more international sport, whereas football is played mostly in the continent of North…

When playing basketball in high school the training is a breeze compared to college. When in High school we only started training one month prior to the basketball season. We would put more effort in fundamentals and drills than in lifting weights or running. Any high school coach would rather have players that are fundamentally sound in the game. College athletes work hard for the sport they play. They go to practices, games, scrimmages, and probably play in their free-time to improve themselves. The practices for most are pretty long and take a lot out of a person. An average game is anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half, and that is a long time to be running around constantly with minimal breaks. Scrimmages are just extra games for the athletes to improve against other players.…
