Part 1-
1. The quote is said by Othello regarding Desdemona and their marriage. Othello was accused of using witchcraft; he said that their love was not forced. Othello explained that their love is natural and it wasn’t magic or a spell. It was his adventures and tales of the adventures that brought them closer.
2. The quote is said by Brabantio (Desdemona’s Father) after he fins out of the marriage, this is a warning to Othello that if Desdemona could lie to her father, than she could lie to Othello as well. This quote is an example of deception or deceit because Othello and Desdemona did not tell anyone of their marriage.
4.This quote is said by Othello about Desdemona after her speech on the behalf of Cassio. This quote means that Othello loves Desdemona and he will always love her and without her his world will be chaos.
5. This quote is said by Linda about her husband Willy to her sons Biff and Happy. Linda says that her husband deserves respect because he has worked so hard for them and that no human being is disposable. This is her plea that Willy deserves respect and attention and that he shouldn’t die without feeling like what he did mattered.

In the 1950’s after World War II, many Americans had this vision of an ideal America and the pursuit of happiness. Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman discusses Willy Loman’s need spent his entire adult life trying to be well liked and a successful salesman and the outcome of the romanticized fantasy of the American Dream. His quest for the American Dream lead to his failure because throughout his life, he pursued the illusion of the American Dream and not the reality of it.
In Willy’s mind this vision of the American Dream included a home with a white picket fence, 2 children, and a being liked by “The Joneses”. The American Dream was just that, a dream. In Willy’s mind he believed that his dream came true and made everyone in his
