This is a story about a mentally challenged man with the intelligence of a 6-year-old, which is actually the age of his own daughter, who is much smarter than her peers. The two of them lead a happy life while the father makes a living by working as a parking attendant at a local supermarket. But one day, when the police commissioner's young daughter dies in a strange accident, the mentally retarded person is the one who happens to find her. He is falsely accused and sentenced to death for abduction, sexual assault, and murder of a minor. His daughter is sent to a childcare institution and her father gets imprisoned and assigned to Cell No. 7. But when the years pass the daughter of the person who is mentally retarded, became a lawyer and defend that his father didn’t do anything in his case, she succeeded and achieved the justice though his father is not with her anymore.
When I was watching Miracle in cell no. 7 I felt the sadness and happiness. Sadness because the movie shows the discrimination for the person who was mentally retarded, Happiness because it shows the relationship of a father-daughter that will do anything despite of the circumstances
The feeling of having no father by your side is really had, especially to a 6 years old child. There will be many questions in your head. But the role of the child in story is an understanding daughter that she will go to do anything for her father just to be on his side. The movie is a truehearted felt comedy that everyone will like and could make everybody laugh and cry because it really shows the true bond and love of the ill father to his adorable and loving daughter. It shows the positive side of a prison life, and that not all prisoners are gangsters or bad. Everyone has a heart, a good one that is. The story also tells that rankings and positions really does not

A comment at the beginning of the film made me feel somewhat uneasy: “Want to be a doctor or lawyer? That’s for white people”. This quote depicts the preconception or expectation for the community’s younger generation to end up on the streets instead of continuing their education and getting a job. Because of this, I believe Dennis’s purpose from Fatherhood Initiative to emphasize family life and how the absence of a fatherly figure can affect one’s childhood is very influential and valuable. I remember Dennis asking the prisoners, “How many of you have had your father tell you they love you?” This stood out to me because my father is a huge influence and I cannot imagine my life without him, and I think it is important to accentuate the significance of having positive role models and caring relationships as a…

He got to prove, not only to his dad and family, but to himself. He finally received what he thought the good end of the deal was. I personally loved this movie. I had never seen it before so I enjoyed trying to see the perspective I was looking at. I received a deeper understanding as to why he was so determined and why his values seemed to be so important to him. I noticed that although he was going through so much, he stuck by his own and believed in himself. When I used conflict to observe Fortune, he caught me as the conflict…

The idea of Grace helping the boys is shown and also it explains the fact that her early life determines how she interacts with the troubled boys. I also agree that the movie acts as a good educational tool by using these experiences to show how people can handle certain situations. You also that caregivers provide an emotional role in peoples lives. In the review it also mentions that emotions are hard to understand but the movie does a good job of making the audience experience the emotions of the characters. The facility is good because Grace helped the young people and experienced emotions of their lives together. The relationships between the teens also were changed throughout the…

The movie portrays an unconventional and harrowing depiction of an Australian family with two sons. This movie took me back when I was still a young man, trying to find my individuality. I remember comparing my father with people I admired. Although I hate to admit it I wanted to be more like those people than like my father just like C wanted to be like Sunny. Today I am a father myself and certainly don't want to see my kid hanging around with another person trying to take my place as a father, especially if this person is doing bad stuff ; just like Lorenzo tried to keep C away from Sunny.…

This movie really showed how many hearing parents of deaf children felt. What information was or wasn’t given to them along the way. How hard it was to make the decisions that they did. There is so much that you must decide for your child. A lot of the time the parents weren’t thinking about their child and how they would benefit from their initial decision to either teach and learn ASL or go down the long hard road of speech therapy day after day. When in the end they aren’t going to achieve more than a fourth grade…
