You need to produce a Leadership Development Portfolio (50% of total mark) containing the development activities carried out during the course. This will have to be completed by a reflective report which will include a reflection of your own leadership style and strategy in the light of the experiential learning activities of the course.
Think of your daily situation at work either as a leader or as a follower and:
Briefly describe your role and systematically suggest how the various activities and knowledge acquired in the course can support you in developing your own leadership capabilities in relation to your specific job (use examples whenever possible).
Conduct a cultural analysis of Leadership within your own organization. In order to do so you need to relate the practices of leadership to both your organizational and national contexts and critically highlight the models and styles of leadership that are encouraged and those that are discouraged by the organizational culture. In addition you need to discuss how leadership influences the culture of the organization. Your answer needs to consider how your organizational culture is influenced both by the leader/s and by the societal culture. One or more theoretical approaches should be used to support your analysis.
You need to discuss the points above in approximately 2500 words (+ or – 10% as per regulations).
