Don’t look back moving forward” – saying movies and books to us. But it’s wrong. Our past is the foundation for our future. Robert’s foundation were Jackie-the woman, the good one, who loved Robert so much, who tried to do everything for him and for his education- and Skeet, Robert’s father, who hasn’t so much passion toward Rob, but who still loved him a lot. They were loveable parents, but what they could give to him? Jackie must care of the whole family and Skeet went to jail, so, at this point of view, Rob hasn’t so much support and, what is more important, he hasn’t the role model. He has friends and they absolutely cared about him, but he was much smarter than they and more ambitiously, so he could give them much more then they could gave him. In conclusion he was…
I prioritize equally important goals by which one will be more beneficial towards my future. For example, I might want to plan a trip to go back-packing through Europe for a summer. However, that goal conflicts with my long-term goal to go to college and earn my degree to further my career. The best method to use for conflict management is to use maturity and wise decision making. I would need to think about the benefits of both goals and determine which goal benefits you the most. Earning a degree is the more logical choice at this point in my life because it would help me to provide for my future.…
The first main conflict in The Tiger Rising is Rob verses himself. His mother’s death has had a great impact on his life by forming his “suitcase”. It all started when Rob couldn’t stop crying at his mother’s funeral. His father slapped him and from then on, Rob keeps all of his emotions, thoughts, and wishes locked up inside of him, in his “suitcase”. He soon forms a rash from his “suitcase”. Willie May, Rob’s adult friend, said to him “You are keeping all that sadness down low, in your legs. You not letting it get up to your heart, where it belongs. You got to let that sadness rise on up” (The Tiger Rising p.37). An effective strategy to solve Rob’s problem is to let someone know about his “suitcase”. He should go to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will be able to cope with Rob’s problems and be able to make it easier to let out his emotions and open his “suitcase”. This will help Rob to become less depressed, more social, and more open to telling others his feelings.…

Contemporary management functions reflect considerations of past management theories and aim to improve and strengthen employer-employee relationships as well as providing suitable working conditions for employees. Management functions are functions which managers perform to “effectively and efficiently coordinate the work of others. (Robbins, 2012). The functions consist of planning, organising, leading and controlling. The theories discussed in the article (1981) Hawthorne, the Myth of the Docile Worker, and Class Bias in Psychology, American Psychologist, 36(8) pp. 867-878. By Bramel, D, an article written about the Hawthorne Research conducted between 1924-1933, which looked to identify the relation between various working conditions and productivity and output, highlight the need for contemporary management functions. The article addresses how integral a continuous strong and communicative relationship is between the employer and employees of a business and the necessity of a strong and ethical organizational culture.…
Rob also has this idealism that he holds to himself to. To set aside the idealism that he shares with Dick and Barry, two others employees that he works with, of which they believe themselves as “musical elitist” of pop cult, Rob’s character further develops, showing this idea in finding himself blameless and just. In order to feel good or better about…
