Peer pressure into underage drinking
Proposal Statement:
Does peer pressure play a role in the reason for underage teenagers drink alcohol?
Hypothesis:
My hypothesis is that peer pressure does affect the choice of an underage teenager to drink alcohol. Teenagers who are under the influence of alcohol can experience negative affects, such as sexual behavior, including unwanted, unintended, and unprotected sexual activity & heavy drinking later in life.
Research Methodology:
My research methodology that I want to use, to help my with my research, is a questionnaire. My questionnaire will included up to 10-15 questions on peer pressure into underage drinking & will focus on the ages of 15 & 17. I will be asking boys & girls a variety of questions & find out what they think of underage drinking & if peer pressure plays a role in underage drinking. With using a questionnaire I hope to find & gather information that will help answer my proposal statement.
Secondary Sources:
I have searched the Internet & have come across a number of websites that have provided me with the information I need. By using websites I am gathering information, articles & surveys that help in answering my statement.
