Review Mini-Case Study 1 in Chapter 26 in your assigned course textbook. In a one-to-two page paper, explain why you would or would not accept the proposal to add a retail pharmacy to a hospital. List at least three improvements that could be made to the proposal to make it more effective.

I would accept the proposal to add a retail pharmacy to the hospital. A retail pharmacy would offer the convenience of shopping for customers such as filling your prescription the same day as your hospital or physician appointment, fill your prescriptions to take home with you upon being discharged from the hospital purchasing over-the-counter medications available for purchase and offers better service for your co-pay dollar .

First and foremost thing needs to have for financial analysis is total cost of project. Total cost should include all visible or invisible cost and may consider margin for risk. Project cost may be derived from budgeting of projects. Budgeting is done by accounting cost for materials, manpower, services, tools and tackles, maintenance and operational cost, utility charges and administration charges. Proper margin for risk cover and escalation charges should be taken into account to consider increment in the during project completion time.
Most important thing in financial analysis is the project cost. All financial calculation are based on the total investment. If project cost exceeds, it will have negative impact on the profitability. It is therefore, very necessary for organization put control over project cost and needs to be monitor on day to day basis.

When creating a proposal for retail, Bepko urges colleagues to take all possible costs into account (capital investment, staff and customer parking, overhead, etc.) Also, consider the potential benefits of increasing your total pharmaceutical buy.
