Below is the quick guide for connecting to BYOD WiFi for Barclays colleagues. My WiFi is now available to all colleagues unless you are subject to Mobile Voice Recording (MVR) within Corporate and Investment Banking. If you are unsure if you are subject to MVR, please contact your local Compliance team. If you are completing this process for the first time, we recommend you follow the step by step instructions on pages 3 to 24 by paging down twice.
You need to complete this process for each device you wish to connect to My WiFi. Once you have done this, your device will remember the network and automatically connect each time in all locations where BYOD is available My Device WiFi - Locations.
Quick Guide
1) Login to http://emeawifi.intranet.barcapint.com (UK & Europe), http://amerwifi.intranet.barcapint.com (US), http://apacwifi.intranet.barcapint.com (APAC) http://absawifi.intranet.barcapint.com (ABSA).
1) Select ‘Continue to this site’ and login using your AD (Windows) credentials.
2) Go to ‘Register for My Device WiFi’, tick the checkbox and select ‘Create Account’.
3) When you do that an email will be sent to your Barclays email account. This email will contain your Username and Password to connect to the BYOD network.
4) Using your iPad, connect to the ‘MyWiFiSetup’ WiFi network (Password is: connectmydevice).
5) Once you are connected to the network, an automatic splash page will be displayed. Select “Cancel” and on the pop up window select “Use without Internet”.
6) Launch your Safari browser.
7) Navigate to a web page. You will be redirected to the login page.
8) Select ‘Install Root Certificate’ and on the pop up window, select ‘Install’.
9) Select ‘Install’ and ‘Done’.
10) Enter your Username and Password you received on the appropriate fields (please ensure you scroll down your screen if you are unable to see this field).
11) A profile will be sent to your device. Select ‘Install’ and ‘Install now’.
12) Finally select
