Structure, Business Model and Culture The business model is a store that offers products that are high-quality, always fresh, with exceptional variety, at a competitive price, given the convenience of a fast transaction; this service is provided to the customer on a friendly, clean, and safe environment. Competence, which is what the employee will do to lead the business in the market. Dedication, a set of moral and ethical values that drives the manager to go beyond customer service to lead the employees into achieving the goal of friendly, fast, and competitive store, Honesty: the value that is important to offer the customers with the best service, the best products at the best value. Fast Pace has chosen to draw the attention of individuals who are service-oriented and have the desire to satisfy the constant need of customers and exceed expectations; in order to achieve that result Fast Pace is committed to offer exceptional preparation in an environment that is combined with classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training, with an emphasis on store operations, merchandising, financial performance evaluation, and employee motivation and retention. Fast Pace understands how much a company’s culture impacts its people and its performance, which is why the company has established a set of values that defines the company and serves as a guiding beacon to conduct business every day. The intention of those principles is to inspire the employees to go above and beyond for the customers, clients, and colleagues.     Competition, guilt, and the contrast between Boy Staunton and Dunstable Ramsay is what Robert Davies used to define the novel, Fifth Business. Davies portrays the idea of competition through the relationship between Boy and Dunstan in their childhood, their military recognition, and their love for Leola. Moreover, the theme of guilt is shown through the experiences of the characters as Dunstable felt guilty for the premature birth of Paul Dempster, Boy subconsciously felt guilty for the death of Leola, and Paul felt responsible for causing his mother to go insane. Guilt essentially is what drives the characters of Fifth Business and in the end determines the final conclusion. Lastly, although Boy and Dunstable are parallels of each other Davies uses their contrast in values, desire for control, and contrast in prosperity during youth.
