School bullying is a type of bullying in which occurs in school. Bullying can be physical, verbal, or emotional. According to the report of Japan Daily in 2012, there are 144,000 cases of school bullying within primary and secondary school which is two times more than the cases in 2011. The suicide rate even increases 44%. Meanwhile, refer to the survey of Hong Kong Family Welfare Society in 2012, there are 76.5% of teenage had subjected to different forms of bullying in schools. However, suicide after bullying seldom happens in Hong Kong. It clearly shows that Japan has a more serious problem than Hong Kong depends on the reaction of the victim. Researches of bullying are focus on several reasons and a brief solution. But, it is useless to the current situation. Why are the situations in Japan worse than Hong Kong? It urged me to figure out the reaction of schools, families and society after heard of bullying.
At schools, both Hong Kong and Japan have the same attitude towards school bullying.
