I agree strongly with the fact that junk food should be banned in school tuck shops‚ but I do have a few points in the favour of not banning junk food completely

first defend “The Argument from Evil” from the Buddhist notion of the concept of “The Argument of Dukkha” or (suffering or unsatisfactoriness). In the Buddhist argument the attributes of an all powerful‚ all knowing and all benevolent God to humans cannot exist due to the concept of Dukkha. I will explain this in my thesis defense with a correlation from a western and eastern thought. Buddha denied the existence of God by the concept of Dukkha which is similar to “The Argument from Evil”. BACKROUND

Is Mackie’s argument from relativity compelling? Mackie’s ‘Ethics: Inventing right and wrong’ critically assesses the idea that there are‚ or even can be‚ objective moral truths‚ and exposits Mackie’s ‘moral relativist’ stance. I intend also in this essay to criticise the idea of moral objectivity‚ and to deal with the objections that could be potentially raised to a relativist stance. The most obvious task‚ it would seem‚ to begin with when assessing the idea of moral objectivity‚ is to come to

The transition from middle school to high school was a change that I was not ready for. I had always been a good student‚ but high school brought challenges that I had to learn to conquer throughout my high school life. A move to a neighboring city forced me to attend a different high school than all of my middle school friends‚ and I was forced to leave all of the friends I had made over the past 8 years. Needless to say‚ my grades suffered. I wasn’t used to the workload that the IB program I

The argument from design is an analogy and works by comparing the universe to an object. An example of the comparison would be to say the world resembles a car. All cars have creators‚ therefore‚ the world has to have a creator‚ and that must be God. The argument concludes by saying by observing the world we can gather evidence that the intelligence of a human that creates a car‚ bike or some other item resembles‚ in a less perfect form‚ God. However‚ Hume thinks this argument fails. Hume does not
