    Americans are infected with a sexual transmitted infection and 20 million people are added to the list every year. Half of the people who are infected are in between the ages of 15 and 24. According the article it cost 16 billion dollars a year in medical costs just to treat people with sexually transmitted infections. My Opinion My thoughts on the article are that this country is ignoring the risk of getting a sexually transmitted infection even though getting one is a pretty serious deal.
