How can parents avoid temper tantrums? * You can most likely avoid these temper tantrums by always having a plan before you get into this situation . Just be better prepared in that kind of setting. 2. What are the A, B, Cs? * The A, B, Cs are basic skill setting you can use to be better at helping your children not have bad behavior or worst. A is for attribute , B is for behavior , & C is for Consequence. 3. Do you think using consequences and following the ABC process will help shape a child’s behavior? Why or why not? * I personally I think that using consequences and following the ABCs will , help shape your childrens behavior. One reason is that if you start early and the child grows up remember what you taught him/her they are most likely to become great leaders in the future.

What are some of the reasons why people may not talk to babies as much today as they used to? * Maybe it’s the fact that parents aren’t home a lot anymore or the fact the the child spends much more time alone in her/his room without the parent. The family mit not have meals together they may eat at seprate times. 2. Why do you think developing language skills is important for a child? * I think develpoing language skills is important for a child because language is an important skill that allows people to communicate. A delay in language can cause a miscommunication and you don’t want to miss out on that. 3. What are some of the ways that parents can encourage the development of language skills? * They can use gestures, speaking, repition, reading, and supporting materials.
