Many people find themselves in poverty due to the uncertainties of life. For instance, recurrent national disaster. When natural disasters occur over and over, many people or countries are unable to recover from the loss and are left in poverty. If the country cannot recover, from natural disaster, then the people cannot recover from natural disaster. Moreover, scenario leads to another cause of poverty, national deficit. People turn to their states to for assistance when nature steps in, but the state turns to the country. However, if the country has no funds due to previous loss, then the country cannot assist the people, therefore, both the people and the country together are forced to live in poverty.

Society is quick to judge those that are from a different ethnic background, race or religion, and discriminate against them. Therefore, those of the lower class are easily rejected and neglected and when society deems a group of people unworthy of advancement, better jobs, etc., then that group of people is forced to live in poverty.
3) What other social issues can cause someone to find themselves in this situation?
People who have grown up in a poor household are accustomed to living poor. These people have made it a common goal to receive welfare checks and do not seek further advancement. Moreover, the schools in the poor neighborhoods are not equipped with the advanced learning systems that other schools have, which confines their learning ability. Then there are others who live in rural neighborhoods or countries that are neglected, causing food shortage, sickness and lack of the normal essentials necessary for a better life.
