In approximately 600 to 800 words using examples from your work place write an assignment on how you interact with, and respond to children, young people and adults. Use the criteria above as a guide to what you need to include in the assignment. Think about how you interact differently with children in different year groups, and how you differ between communicating with a child than communicating with a member of staff. Think about different members of staff you talk with, and why it is important for children and young people to see positive relationships.
In the workplace it is important to have professional and respectful relationship with the children and adults. This consists of being polite, respectful, listening to others and being able to talk positively and effectively to children and other adults. It is also important to listen to there views and concerns to show willingness to listen, this may make them feel more comfortable in your presence.
