13 Chairs By Dave Shelton Summary
The book I read was called “13 chairs” and it was written by Dave Shelton. The author has written this in first person. The max number of pages that you can read
Is 246. Then you would be done with the book. This story is a good one. One afternoon, jack the main character was told that on this night there was a house where the ghosts meet and tell stories, scary stories. So on that night jack went to the house and there were ghosts there. But he did not believe it at first. He stayed there even though he did not know where he was. It’s like they just knew who he was like they knew him for years, but in reality they just met him. Does jack feel comfortable here in this house? I would rate this book a three

Kurt Jooss’ “The Green Table” and Alvin Ailey’s “The Revelations” are both over half a century old and still remains to this day one of the most timeless masterpieces of dance in history. Their elaborate combinational display of music, dance, and rhythm was able to tell us a story without the use of any words. This collaborative combination was able to create a powerful and insightful perspective on what they were trying to articulate. The revelations captured the pain, determination, and valour of the African Americans at the time. Ailey used a very religious, divine, and prayerful mood and point of view throughout the whole dance. While The Green Table aimed at showing people how futile war is and how it affects people and society. Jooss used the satirical and cynical perspective, as well as the method of expressionism.…

The reason that this statement is relevant to the paper, is because a similar events happens in the Poltergeist. The spirit in the house separates Carol Anne from her family to benefit the other souls in limbo. The spirit also causes feelings son to be attacked by a tree and a clown in order to direct everyone's attention away from the daughter.
