2 Fast 2 Furious http://putlocker.tn/2-fast-2-furious/ In order for a director to make an audience feel in a certain way, the director would want to do certain things with the camera, editing, sound and by showing specific things (Mise-en-scene). I will be analysing these factors in the open sequence for the film ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’.
Editing
The film starts off with a group of guys and girls getting off the back of a truck in the middle of the night. At first glance I thought that the people are young adults just having a little party in the back of the trunk but as the scene goes on I realise that their doing something completely different, they’re going to street ends and blocking off roads with a ‘road closed’ sign. Throughout the opening sequence of the film, there’s a lot of quick cuts at different angels. This makes what’s going on in the scene more tense and energetic, this also draws in the audience’s attention because it makes them interested. For example, the shot keeps changing from person to person as they go around dropping the street cones and road signs, this shows their trying to do it quickly and may suggest their running against time or something big is about to happen.
Shortly after, one of the main characters is introduced, Tej, a mechanic. Tej doesn’t just work on any cars, he specialises in supercars and street racing cars. The camera has an extreme close-up as he finishes his conversation on the phone, then moves to an establishing type shot, showing the location is Tej’s Garage with dozens of supercars and people ready to race.
Shortly after, the main character Brian, is introduced as he drives in with his supercar and all the other drivers cheering for him and shaking his hand as he comes out his vehicle.
Brian challenges another driver to a race and a couple of other drives pay in to join. As the drivers are lining up for the race, the tension for the audience is already building because they know an illegal street
