General Internship Requirements
Desired Majors: Business (preferred), Finance,
Desired Class Level(s): Graduate student
Required GPA: 3.0 and above
Start Date: May 31, 2011
Length: 10 weeks
Salary Level: $15-20/hr
Knowledge and Skills: * Currently enrolled in a Graduate program or a four-year accredited college or university * Behaves proactively and takes responsibility when necessary, demonstrates a point of view about relevant issues and shares it and acts as a team player when required, demonstrating support for others when needed. * Has flexibility in communication style to match others needs and builds a strong positive image of own ability and expertise. * Makes decisions that have an impact outside own area of responsibility, having given due consideration to the likely consequences. * Sets milestones, reviews progress and takes appropriate corrective action plans ahead anticipating events and making contingency plans. Adapts plans when faced with changing priorities or resources. * Maintains an overview of complex situations rather than focusing purely on detail, and uses both practical and theoretic models when formulating ideas and solutions. * Interprets complex financial statements for potential business opportunities. * Explains financial results to others, orally and in writing. * Ability and willingness to work with and maintain confidential material. * Strong financial modeling skills. * Must be results
