Hello Rick Scott,
Hurricane Harris has just struck our area and we are in a state of emergency but trying to get our lives back in order. Since the storm we have had varies problems such as light poles not working from water going into the pole, an also many people can’t go where they need to go because of the water flooding occurring in our area.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights protect individuals, but also give the government the power to pass laws to restrict behavior. Legislation, the Bill of Rights, court decisions, and the amendment process work together to both safeguard individual rights and limit them as deemed appropriate to protect the rights to safety and security for all. When people bring a case to the courts, judges can decide whether or not the Constitution allows a law that restricts the rights of individuals. My position with my issue of the water getting into the pole lights are very bad. Because such as I live in a home where I have no lights and I am a very asthmatic child. Now the reason I’m addressing this issue because my house runs off of electricity which means I need the air conditioner to be on for my safety reason. I can’t be over heated for amount of time. If I constantly be over heated I can start to catch ashamed attacks which can be a very bad for my health. So I will really like this issue to be address
Another one of my issues is that water is still in the street an it’s stopping vehicles from moving. Even though we had recently have had an hurricane. But people have places to go. Such ass school, work another etc, places. Im not trying to offend anyone but you people with money, are obligated to anything you are needed to do. But under casements have to wait an sit around till someone do something.
In conclusion im writing this letter because we need help in our community with the issues
