21st century discipleship

Some Christians would disagree with this statement and say it is even easier to be a disciple in the 21st century. In this century there are churches all over the world and technology that could help. They would also say this wrong in concerning regular church goers as they would be turned away from sin and be receiving the Holy Spirit. They would also say there are a lot of priests and nuns going out carrying Jesus’ cross and have dedicated their whole life to him. There are also catechists who help to bring the younger generation of the faith. Many Christians find Peters denial of knowing Jesus helpful, they feel that they cannot understand all Jesus' teaching, they may have failed and deserted Jesus, but knowing that those who were closest to Jesus, could still do this, encourages them to struggle on as Christians.
However other Christians might agree and say there are too many temptations making it difficult. For example on Sundays people go to work instead of church. The 21st century is a fast moving world where you need money to survive. They would also say there are too many ethical issues which Christians are getting dragged into such as cloning and to be a disciple you would need to lead and set an example.
In my opinion I agree to an extent because there’s many things people are forced to put before God to survive. However I disagree mostly because the same disciples who hid after Jesus’ crucifixion and were sinners were able to turn their failure into success, by spreading the word and establishing the Christian church, this in many ways represents people today facing challenges and discriminations today.
