23 rd March Pakistan day
23 rd March 1940 carries a significant importance in lives of every Muslims. It was the day when Muslim were recognized as a separate nation and foundation of independent homeland for Muslim was laid in which they can lead their lives according to the teaching of Islam, follow their culture traditions and own way of lives.
In Pakistan the day is being celebrated with full patriotism and joy because of it is the day when muslin was recognized the very first time as a separate nation.
In the words of Quaid-i-Azam: “Hindus and the Muslims belong to two different religions, philosophies, social customs and literature. They neither inter-marry nor inter-dine and, indeed, they belong to two different civilizations that are based mainly on conflicting ideas and conceptions. Their concepts on life and of life are different. It is quite clear that Hindus and Muslims derive their inspiration from different sources of history. They have different epics, different heroes and different episodes. Very often the hero of one is a foe of the other, and likewise, their victories and defeats overlap. To yoke together two such nations under a single state, one as a numerical minority and the other as a majority, must lead to growing discontent and final destruction of any fabric that may be so built up for the government of such a state”.
He further said, “Mussalmans are a nation according to any definition of nation. We wish our people to develop to the fullest spiritual, cultural, economic, social and political life in a way that we think best and in consonance with our own ideals and according to the genius of our people”.
In Pakistan when common man is triggered by so many social problems, facing the crucial financial crisis but in this situation also we celebrate the day by forgetting all our problems which we are facing in Pakistan with the feeling of patriotism and joy and love for our dear homeland and hope that every thing will be alright on one day and Pakistan will

Abraham Lincoln’s stance on abolition evolved. Initially, he was primarily concerned with preserving the Union, and his focus was on preventing the spread of slavery rather than outright abolition. However, as the Civil War progressed, his view shifted. He came to see the abolition of slavery as crucial both morally and strategically in winning the war and preserving the Union. While Lincoln may not have started as a staunch abolitionist, his actions as President indicate a growing commitment to ending slavery in the United States.…

Though they have been in existence for less than a century, India and Pakistan have enough history between them to fill several books. Tensions between Hindus and Muslims grew rapidly with the split of India and Pakistan in 1947. Before tensions were running high, but now gave way to rioting. It all started when India, then also including what is now present day Pakistan, was under British rule. The British had been ruling for roughly a century and ground the native’s faces in the dirt the entire time they were in power. Naturally, there were dissenters who did not appreciate being told what to do and these voices grew stronger as time went along. Over the time, Britain had given more and more freedom to India until it was almost free. Around the time of World War 2, Britain asked for the assistance of Indians to fight in the war against Japan. India relented but then talks broke down and India demanded it be free. The Muslim faction of British India (or British Raj), which made up a smaller percentage of British India than Hindus did, did not want India to be free, since they felt they would be treated like second class citizens. Under British doctrine, all natives were treated equal and the Muslims thought they would be treated more fairly under British rule. To fully understand the depth of the situation, one would have to go back when the British first staked their claim in India.…

People are humans that are the same even if from a different religion, but I still don't know why Hindus and Muslims fight. I have thought of many ways to stop them from fighting. I only was left with one idea which was making them two countries. I tried to think of new ideas but no, most of the Hindus and Muslims disagreed with my ideas. I only wanted peace between these religions because “Yes I am, I am also a Muslim, a Christian, a Buddhist, and a Jew.” What I mean is that I am still a human and I have joined 4 religions. What is the purpose of fighting? So I decided to separate India into two countries India and Pakistan. This was the best plan that worked. Many people agreed with my idea to separate India into two countries.…

There are some movements in history whose events decide not only the fate of the present, but of all time to come, setting the stage for the emergence of the free spirit of man and his realization of the ends of his creation. These events are shaped by the inevitable forces of history, and they take a clear dialectical pattern of conflicts involving good and evil, justice and injustice, freedom and bondage, truth and falsehood. And in course of time these historical movements take on other dimensions as well, sometimes transferring their significance on to a purely symbolic realm. Through a strange transvaluation which only history can explain, these events get firmly entrenched in popular imagination, supplying matter even for folklore. Such movements of apocalypse are not numerous in the history of nations; but when they take place they become more than mere historical events- they become occasions for a celebration of life, its vital principles and its uncompromising truth..…
