After taking the five assessments within Focus 2, I learned a lot about myself. Within the work interest assessment, I scored the work interest Holland code of SIE. SIE stands for social, investigative, and enterprising. The social aspect is identified as “the helpers,” the investigative aspect is identified as “the thinkers,” and the enterprising aspect is identified as “the persuaders.” I was not aware that I excelled in these three aspects of my life. After learning about these interests, I can definitely see how I do excel in these throughout my life. When looking at my results on the values assessment, it is easy to already be aware of those. My values are something that affect my daily life and are something that I hold close to my heart. The three values that I received on the value assessment are helping others, income, and influence. My skills assessment told me that I am proficient in helping, reading comprehensions, and reasoning. These three skills are something that I enjoy and have done a good job at my whole life. I can definitely see how these skills will assist with finding the right career…

The commonalities that are in the values that I have chosen are that they try to make decisions in a way that is not selfish. I just believe in treating others the way that I would want to be treated. Even when making decisions in my personal life or in business I try to understand where the other party is coming from. I always strived to do the best that I can, in everything that I do, and this especially applies to academics. In 6th grade, I joined the honors program at my middle school; from then on forward, I made sure than my work was of high enough quality so that the following year I would be placed in honors courses. I entered high school with courses that upperclassmen had that challenged me more than anything else had before. It was during my freshman year of high school that I realized that I couldn’t…

Values’ of people may never be found. Luckily for me, I discovered my three most- prominent aspects of my personality. Dependability, well I would say that I am reliable no matter how swamped I am. Contributing to others and the world itself is a life-goal of mine you could say. Even though I have an endless amount of values, my third characteristic is the purpose and/or meaning of life. As you can see, these are only the raw facts that make up my personality that will be vindicated later on.…
