|1. |Respect |
|2. |Fairness |
|3. |Teamwork |
|4. |Understanding |
|5. |Success |
The commonalities that are in the values that I have chosen are that they try to make decisions in a way that is not selfish. I just believe in treating others the way that I would want to be treated. Even when making decisions in my personal life or in business I try to understand where the other party is coming from. These values make me think over what I say and do before I speak of act. They help to keep me from making irrational decisions. If one or more of my values that I’ve listed conflict with my decision making, I have to take time to think if the decision is one that I really wanted to make. I believe in being a great employee but if a position takes me away from what is ethical and fair in my value system, I could not keep that position for long. I feel that the values of my organization are very different from my personal values because the company that I work for is not understanding or about teamwork they are more so about making money and that is why the turnover rate at my job is very high.
