In order to apprehend a criminal the first steps involve evidence collection. CSI technicians collect blood samples either by submitting a piece of clothing or by using a sterile cloth and a small amount of distilled water to remove some blood from the body as well as collect blood samples by scraping trace blood spatter from walls and floors into a sterile container using a scalpel. Blood samples are also collected from the body. These samples are then sent to be analyzed to determine if the samples are the same since any blood at the crime scene may belong to either the victim or assailant. The lab will perform DNA analysis on the sample as well as the victim to determine whether or not it can be used later to compare to blood taken from all suspects.…

In order to answer the question as where AutoEdge fits in its industry in comparison to its competitors it will be helpful to look at market structure and the various areas or types of market structure. So what is a market structure? A market structure may be defined as “the characteristics of the market” (Whatiseconomics, 2014). The word characteristics is the key to fully grasping this seemingly simple definition of what market structure is. Market structure or the characteristics of the market can be sorted into two categories where one is organizational characteristics and the other is competitive characteristics. Consideration should be given to other features that may also be a good description of a product or service market. Features such the number of businesses in a specific market where this would provide a broader view of both national and international competitors, concentration ratios show which entity is holding the larger percentage of the market, nature costs illustrates the effects of contestability thats inclusive of economic scale and suck costs.…

When I was dusting my apartment for prints I found about 5 different prints and 2 partial prints. I found one partial print on the glass on my coffee table in the living room and one partial print on the night stand in my room. I found 2 prints on the glass on the sliding door to my patio and 1 print on the mirror in the master bathroom, 1 print on the back of a CD found on the end table in the living room and 1 print on the dining room table in the. I went to JoAnn Fabrics to get a Slinky Science fingerprint science kit so I could use the powder and the feather from the box. The powder came in a bottle so it made it really hard to get prints and I actually had my boyfriend put prints on the things I listed so I could use the powder and the powder was also white and made it hard to see. When I used the feather it would smudge the print and I would have to try and use it a different direction. If I were to side to side with the feather it would smudge the print but if I would go up and down it would push the powder away so I was able to see the print better but not clearly. I did not find any prints in my apartment due to my boyfriend cleaning everything. This is why I only find the prints I did because I asked him to put the prints there. Yes I could tell the difference between the prints if I were to put my print right next to it. My finger print has loops and my boyfriend’s prints have tent arches on them. Some of the surfaces that I would think I would find prints on are door knobs, TV, the handle on a microwave, the keys to the car, the thermostat and light switches, books, cell phones and you could also get prints off of duct tape and the door handles of a car that has metal handles and you can get prints off of garbage bags also and DVD cases. When I was doing this assignment I found that trying to get a print from surfaces…

When it comes down to their decision-making the Board of Governors, they get together annually to discuss everything that is happening and information that has been brought to their attention from outside sources. Currently they have a Code of Business Ethics and Conduct document that all employees and volunteers must read and sign a document that states they agree with the terms. According to "American Red Cross Code of Business Ethics and Conduct" (2009), “The Red Cross has traditionally demanded and received the highest ethical performance from its employees and volunteers.” They hold everyone to these standards therefore they know there are not any issues, if issues arise the Office of the General Counsel and the Office of Investigations, Compliance, and Ethics look into the issues and further actions may be taken if any foul play has occurred. There is a standard that they all are held at and if they do not they are held accountable for their actions but the American Red Cross is always looking to hear what people have to say in all aspects of their organization.…
