Everyone have their interest, and some people are choosing their work with their interest. But, there also have many people doing their work without thinking their interest in the society, they just want to get higher wages. Although some people who are doing their work with their interest, they will feel work can be meaningful. However, people who doing their work with want to get higher wages, they will feel their work are unmeaningful.
Steger said “People work for many reasons, and there are two types of people work. The first type is some are obvious which is people are paid to work. Another type is some are not as obvious which means work is where their friends are” (Steger 2010). According to Adam King, he said “Meaningful work is the highest form of expression that can come from you via a chosen medium” (King 2013). Meaningful work also means people, who are doing their work with their interest, and they can finish their job quickly and they can easy to make good relationships with others. That is because when their work is meaningful, they can through the work to meet more people, happy to finish their works, solve problems together and discuss with them. Therefore, they are happy for their work, and they are enjoying to their work, which can help people to meet more friends and focus on their work more easily.
And there is an example for people who are working with their interest, they are working happily, and they love their works. According to Theng 2007, the video was talked about people working in Google, and those people who are working in Google, they love their job, and they can make good relationship with others. Also, they can feel their work is meaningful, and enjoying their work.
