60 Week Activity Plan
Before each workout I will do a light intensity 5 minutes warm up and after a light intensity cool down 5 -10min followed by a stretching that will engage all my muscle.
My goal for this activity plan is to lose weight, so I decided to workout for 60 min almost each day. I added Circuit training almost each day because I find it more productive and should be done every day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my school busiest days in the week, so I will dedicate 45 min to Run and Walk. Sundays are my rest days but I still want to run and walk, because my body is used it now. I feel better when I walk and run. I did gain this habit from my previous activity plan.
I hope to keep up with this activity plan.

Choosing the right exercise program is the easiest part. If you like the outdoors then walking may be the right choice. “A brisk Walk is nearly the perfect exercise” (“Health Prescription” 2001). Dr. Mason explains in Harvard’s Women’s magazine, stretching before any exercise is important (“Health Prescription” 2001). She says, walking can be done in many different ways and the most effective way is a long thirty-minute walk (“health Prescription). If walking is not intense enough then cardio is a good choice. “When it comes to fitness fads that have swept across America over the past 50 years, cardio is the king” (Newsome 2012). A good form of cardio is running. “ Do you love the feel of running in the great outdoors yet worry about the bad press that running sometimes gets. There are precautions you can take” (Carerra 2012). “Running allows you to be connected with your thoughts and the increased heart rate and endorphin response of recruiting your entire body into the movement is uplifting, invigorating, addictive”( Carerra 2012).…

    3 Day Exercise Analysis

    • 601 Words

I think that the best exercise that would suit me best would be light jogging and walking on the treadmill. I really like taking walks and I enjoy light jogging. I also think some aerobics would also help me as well. I would really like to get to a gym. I think if I had a trainer or somebody to get me motivated it would really help me. When I was in high school I enjoyed gym class because I had a teacher to motivate me to run a mile every other day. I also had friends to run with me. If I took my sister to the gym with me I think she would really motivate me. I could do these activities year round at a gym. I would not run outside in the winter because it gets way to cold and I do not like the cold. I could do these activates at a gym though year round.…

For example, brisk walking , bike riding, rollerblading, or going for a run are great activities for individuals to be active and stay fit. One should accumulate at least 30 minutes or more of moderate-intense activity on most, or all days of the week. Individuals should make sure to reduce their screen time by limiting the use of TVs, computers, DVDs, and video games. In the process, one should insure that they are keeping track of their weight, body mass index, and waist index.…

My short-term goal is to decrease my waistline from 38 to 36. My long-term goal is to lose 50 pounds in one year and lower my body mass index from 32.7 to 24.9. I plan to accomplish these goals by starting a daily exercise program, of 30 minutes of cardio, weights, and core workouts. These workouts are similar to two workout programs offered at my job every week. One workout is circuit training, which is a combination of high-intensity aerobic and resistance training, which targets fat loss, muscle building and heart-lung fitness. Because my schedule is very tight, the best time to work out is when I get home from work. The other is boot camp workout, which includes calisthenics, weight training, cardio, and core training, moving from one exercise to the next with no rest in…

    Exercise Analysis

When looking at the current state of my exercise habits consists of walking at least 2 miles a day and jog 2 miles, stretches, and 30 minutes of deep cardio. I like to get up in the morning and start off with my stretching so that I do not become sore later on in the day, and it helps relax me and get me ready for my day. I like to stretch for at least 15-20 minutes every morning and stretching also helps with waking me up as well. After I get done with my stretches I will then go for a 1 mile walk to start and then jog for 20 miles, and then I will slow down the last mile and walk to cool down, and when I do it like this I feel as if I am more energized than I am on a pot of coffee. When I get back from my walk/jog I then get on the gazelle for 10 minutes total but then again I divide the time by having a warm up set amount of time of 5 minutes and a cool down set of time of 5 minutes as well. This helps to keep a good balance and does not overdue the heart while staying healthy and fit.…
