9/11 Short Stories
It was the date of September 11, 2001, a plane had struck the Twin Towers at 8:36 am, devastating thousands of people. Meanwhile, in New York Firefighter Jessie, was getting up and saying goodbye to his wife. "Goodbye Samantha, I love you," says Jessie. Jessie's daughter Bailey ran out of her room to give her dad a big hug and kiss goodbye. "Goodbye daddy I hope you have a good day at work, I love you," Bailey squealed. " Love you too," says Jessie. "Jessie why do you have to leave so early," says Samantha. " People are calling 911 like crazy and they're saying that something is happening at the World Trade Center," Jessie stated. " Well you better be home in one piece you hear," Samantha warned. " I'll be fine," Jessie stated. Jessie went to the Fire House to get his suit on and get his dog, Tank. " Tank, ready for another day of work?" Jessie asked. Jessie and Tank got in the fire truck and drove off to the World Trade Center. When Jessie got there it was worse than he imagined, the Twin Towers were being destroyed.

Jessie started to yell at everyone, "run for your life!" Jessie went inside the World Trade Center to save who he can.
It was too late the Twin Towers have already collapsed. There was too much dust in the air he could barley see, the rubble was covering a mile away. Jessie heard a noise in the rubble. Jessie ran as fast as he could to see what it was, a child screaming for help, Tank helped pull the boy out of the rubble since Jessie was trying to find the boys mother but it was no use she was no where in sight, Jessie decided to keep the boy by his
side.
The boys name was Eric he was about 6 years old. "Excuse me sir, but where is my mommy," stated Eric. "Don't worry bud we'll find her," says Jessie. Jessie saw in the boys eyes he was going to burst into tears. Jessie tried talking to him but he would not talk back to him. Jessie went back home to see if his family was okay. Jessie screams, "Hello anyone home!" No response, Jessie looked all over the house but he could not find them. Jessie started to panic. He could not find his family.
Jessie looked all around town for his wife and child. The boy started to cry for food. "I'm hungry I want food now!" Eric screams! "I know, we all are," Jessie states. They have been on the road for awhile looking for Samantha and Bailey. The dog started to bark. "What is it boy," Jessie whispered. Jessie pulled over to see what it was. It was, Bailey!
"Are you okay Bailey, are you hurt," Jessie squealed. "I'm fine daddy are you okay," Bailey states. "Yes I'm fine Bailey," Jessie stated. Jessie started back on the road again. What's this, Jessie found his wife! Jessie ran to his wife to see if she was okay. "I love you Samantha, are you hurt are you okay, what happened to you why weren't you at the house," Jessie squeals. I'm fine, but do you have Bailey is she okay," Samantha squeals. "Yes she is with me and she is fine," Jessie remarked. Eric started too scream out mommy. "Mommy, mommy!" Eric yells. Jessie went to see what was wrong. Jessie went to the side of the car and there was a girl, it was Eric's mother, Jessie checked for a pulse, but it was to late his mom didn't make it, since the boy had nowhere to go, Jessie decided to keep him with the family and take good care of him.
