A Brief Biography Of Elizabeth Stoddard
Elizabeth Stoddard Hamilton Elizabeth Stoddard was born on Nov 9, 1823 in West Cornwall, Litchfield in Connecticut. Her parents were Clarissa Willis Stoddard. Clarissa was born on May 30, 1793. And died Dec 11, 1837. Her father was William Stoddard he was born May 19, 1789 and died May 22, 1875. Marriage
In August 1844 she married Collis Potter Huntington. At the time Collis was a peddler and part General store owner in New York. From Cornwall and Oneonta the Huntington's moved to California. In California Elizabeth and Collis sold Gold rush equipment.
