A Career As A Pediatrician Practitioner
Pediatrician A pediatrician is a medical practitioner who specializes in children and their diseases (Pediatrician Ok). I have chosen this occupation because I enjoy working with children and families. There are many responsibilities to take on when becoming a pediatrician. You will be responsible with caring for patients who range from newborns all the way to young adults (Pediatrician Ok). Also, you will be responsible for diagnosing, examining, and treating your patients with a variety of different illnesses and diseases (Pediatrician Ok). Roughly your work schedule could be waking up around 6:00AM, eating breakfast and getting ready for work. Once you arrive at the hospital you will need to visit all of your patients that stayed overnight to see how they are doing and check their charts. (Pediatrician Shmoop). Next, you will need to perform a surgery on a little boy. The surgery was a success! He is feeling much better now. The doctor then takes appointments and does a check up on a little baby. A pediatrician must be able to listen to the patient and be able to understand body language of the child. A pediatrician needs to be able to tell if something is wrong or upsetting the child (Pediatrician Career). A parent/guardian may not be understanding what is wrong with their child. It is the pediatrician's job to be able to use what they know and the child´s body language to be able to determine what is wrong with the child.
