As a child I did enjoy one particular cake made by Hostess. It was called the Suzy Q. My mouth would water just thinking about getting one like a dog waiting for a juicy bone to chew on. It was a rectangle chocolate, moist, cake cut in half with rounded edges, and stuffed with the sweetest white cream. I can picture everything the way it use to be and also see the subtle changes that time has brought. As a child, I use to fish at a park called Mile Square almost every day in the summer. I couldn’t get enough of it, and back then it wasn’t unsafe for a kid to be out alone walking to a lake to fish. I would pick up a cup of little yellow meal worms at the 711 across the street, because the fish really loved them, and sit in my favorite spot to get my pole ready. The water was very clear with green, stringy moss, growing about 3 feet into the water. This is where the little golden green fish like to live. I would stay there all day catching bluegill one after the other. I would have to throw them back so I could catch them again and again. So when I take my children there I see the same rock and the same benches and its just a happy time and a happy way to spend a day
