A Narrative Essay On The Engel Family

There was an Engel family, it was Dec.5th 2015 in Atlanta there was a son named Max, a daughter named Beth, a mother named Sarah and a father named Tom. Their family just got home from the grocery store so Sarah was just about to cook dinner for their family and the kid’s mom sister was about to come over with their family. To stay for Christmas Beth and Max hated it when they came over because all they ever wanted to do was fight with each other, eat and watch television. So then Sarah heard a knock at the door and it was them so Beth went up to her room to text her boyfriend because she did not want to be around her aunt’s kids then boom! Aunt Dorothy came bursting through the door with her big bags and suit cases she was the
oldest sister out of the mothers. As soon as she came she started screaming and saying she was hungry and kicking all of the kids off the couch so she could lay down. So then it was time for dinner so all the kids and grown-ups came into the kitchen and ate. Then the twin daughters, Megan and Haylee of Aunt Amy kids took Max’s letter that Grandma Omi helped him make even though she doesn’t speak English. But he didn’t notice that they took it at first so he just kept on eating his food. So then they were playing tug war over the letter to Santa then the girls mom made then give it back to him when he started to cry over it so, then Max said all he ever wanted was a happy Christmas with my family this year and ran to his room

and slammed the door. So Beth said “I’ve had enough of this” and said to her mom and dad since she haven’t seen my boyfriend all day that she was going for a walk to his house and “I’ll be back in an hour.” So while Max was in his room, he jumped on the bed, then he laid down and then got up five minutes later. Ripped the letter into pieces and threw it out the window and said Santa isn’t real anyways. The letter went flying into a beautiful swirl, then it went into the sun and it disappeared. Then he went back downstairs and started to finish eating his food, while Beth was walking to her boyfriend’s house she notice it seemed awfully dark then she started walking down an alley and she heard a sound in the bushes. So she said who’s there no one answered so she just kept on walking then she saw something huge fly across her boyfriend’s house. She started to walk up to the doorstep the something went flying out of her boyfriend’s chimney it was huge, big gray, brown, black and furry, and it had a long head and reindeer feet so she started screaming and running. Then the animal looking thing started chasing her so she started running like she was running for her life and then she dove under a truck. It was very quiet for a couple of minutes and she noticed that all the lights went out that was on that street …then she heard a Christmas record playing, then she started silently crying then she saw the reindeer feet jump down from off the top truck. Then the reindeer grabbed her by the legs and she started crying then whoosh! Beth and the

reindeer flew away in the sky.
But back at home, they were all listening to music and hanging out and stuff, then everyone was like where’s Beth she said she’ll be back in an hour or so and it’s been three hours. They tried to call her, but she didn’t answer so they all said oh well and the whole family went off to go to see the Christmas lights. The whole family got into a limo so there just driving and driving then all of the sudden they saw Beth. Knocked out laying on the side of the road they tried to stop and get out and see but then the same huge reindeer looking thing hit their whole car. The car flew and everyone one in it fell out of it. Everyone said at the same time what is that thing then they all started screaming. Then Max stood up and said mom I want to go home then he started to cry all over again then Krampus picked up their whole family and threw them all always across the bridge where the lights were. Max then screamed and cried and said I want my family back give me my family. Then Max said if this is happening because I said I don’t believe in Santa no more then I’m sorry. So then Max started crying and saying that he was sorry and screaming I want my family back I’ll do anything for them I didn’t mean what I said. The Krampus made a big hole and picked Max up and dropped him in it then he just walked away. Then that’s when Max woke up and he was laying in his bedroom so he hurried and got up to go see where his
family

was. They were all their opening Christmas presents and singing Christmas songs, eating cookies and watching the Grinch. So then Max went in the front room and asked everyone if they remembered what had happened. Everyone said no but his Grandma Omi she remembered everything because it happened to her when she was a kid and everything that happened was real for Max it wasn’t a dream then she winked at him. Grandma Omi gave Max a present then he opened it and It was the same crystal ball with their house in it he gave her hug. The End
