Well, the Titanic was sinking in the month of April and sank at around 2:20 A.M. It was caused by an iceberg which the crew had known about from a report by the Californian at 7:30 P.M however wasn't taken seriously until the iceberg hit the Titanic after that there were some concerns. There were also many places the Titanic was involved with, such as Belfast, Southampton, New York. Belfast was where the Titanic was built, Southampton is where the trip starts to finally New York, which was supposed to be the final destination until the catastrophe in the Atlantic Ocean. So when they released the lifeboats it was women and children only but some women and children didn't know how to speak English. Therefore it would make the situation where you have to release lifeboats fast and quick harder due to those people who speak …show more content…
The Californian was the ship that gave the ice warnings to the Titanic at 7:30 PM. The Carpathia was the ship that was saving people on the lifeboats. Another similarity is the fact there was people (mostly men) jumping off the Titanic into the water. Then, there was the fact how the characters were very indistinguishable from the novel and film. Another scene was that the film and the novel, both had the Titanic sinking in the Atlantic Ocean. Then the critical part when releasing lifeboats, both women and children first in the novel and the
