A Trip To Ryleigh Research Paper
We are having the best time on Ryleigh’s make a wish trip to Disneyworld. I can’t even put into words how amazing it is to give Ryleigh the time of her life. She went through 2 ½ years of cancer treatment. Ryleigh lost that time of childhood to play instead to spend it with surgeries, procedures, port pokes, chemotherapies, illnesses, hospital stays, and social isolation due to low immunity. It has been amazing to have the opportunity of dedicating an entire trip to her enjoyment brings me some much happiness. Thank you make a wish.

Charles Town was founded at Albemarle Point on the Ashley River in 1670 by the English, and the name “Charles Town” honored Charles II, the King of England. Spanish explorers had first explored the coastal regions of South Carolina, but did not attempt a settlement because they angered local natives. Settling in Charles Town was difficult because of geography, resources, and diseases/natives.…

I watched this documentary this morning with my class on the goings on at Winterbourne View Residential Hospital for adults with Learning Disabilities. I watched as a member of staff made complaints and went to the top to report what was going on in the home and was not taking seriously and ignored and nothing done about his complaints not even an investigation and ended up having to go to the BBC Panorama team. I am ashamed at the fact that the staff member, a senior male nurse called Terry Bryan had to go to people not in the health care industry to talk about what was happening and becoming a whistle-blower in order to help the patients as much as he could.…

The Battle of Hampton Roads occurred on March 8 and 9 of 1862 and is most commonly known as the Battle of the Ironclads. The naval battle came at a time when the Union forces were attempting to take the Confederate Capital of Richmond, Virginia. The Union Naval vessels with 204 guns heavily outgunned the Confederate vessels that had only 35 guns but the determining factor of the battle was the new type of vessel, the ironclad. The noteworthy combatants of this battle were the CSS VIRGINIA and the USS MONITOR, both were ironclad ships that changed the way naval battles would be fought in the future of the war and the future of the United States Navy.…

Once there was an English colony named Roanoke. When it was settled, Jamestown sent out about 100 English settlers to build the colony. The sound of kids laughing ringed through my ears as the Disney All-Star Movies transportation bus pulled up to the parking lot at Walt Disney World Resort. My stomach began to turn as the butterflies fluttered rapidly. I trailed behind my family as we walked towards the opening gates. My smile stretched across my face, and my cheeks began to feel sore. I listened as my mom gave her safety instructions. I was ready to go. I was ready to ride the rides. I was ready see the famous Disney Castle. I was ready to meet all of my role model Disney princesses. I was ready to go.…

So this paper is going to be about happiness and how I personally feel about it. I liked Switzerland and its utopian lifestyle. In Bhutan, it is required for one to be happy. I would like to live in Qatar, I find their luxurious lifestyle to be tempting, but I am afraid if I go there, I would lose my sense of self. Iceland is too cold, and I do not agree with their try, try, fail, and that are ok stich. Without success, one cannot have the drive to move forward and to preform actions that are productive. What goes along with that success is money, recognition, and self-pride. Moldova needs to get itself together; it is to blame for their funk. Their poor me routine annoys me so much; I will most likely not mention it in my essay. Thailand, I like their vibe of not sweating the small stuff, not so crazy about their tendency to let it reach a point where the cut of one another’s penises off. Not cool. Great Britain needs stop being so uptight. I am not a fan of any of their ways, so I’ll probably ignore them or use them as an example of what not to be. India, just finished that chapter, it seems like it has a lot of air pollution, but they seem like a fun bunch of people. Even the most destitute look forward to better days in their next life. I haven’t read about American yet.…

When I arrived at the St. Alphonsus Cancer Care center on a Friday afternoon, Ms. Nelson had a very warm and endearing personality that was apparent from the beginning. First she asked questions about my experience with cancer and if it had every affected myself or a family member. That question alone made Ms. Nelson seem very empathetic to anyone that has been personally affected by cancer. Later that day, I had found out that Ms. Nelson is a cancer survivor herself. After learning that information it became clear on why she had a passion for helping cancer patients and their families get the help and care that they need.…

I want to be a Sidekick because it’s important to raise awareness of pediatric cancer. I think every child has a right to enjoy their childhood without worrying about their health. As a child, I went through severe health problems. I was in and out of doctor’s appointments and treatment. The whole time I was going through my health issues, I always had support from my family. Even though I was worried about getting better, my parents never let me forget that I was a child. They made sure I went to school, had playdates, celebrate my spelling quizzes to remind me that even though I have to worry about my health more than the other kids in school, I was no different than them. I want to remind the families and children affected by pediatric cancer…
